I'd like to acknowledge my formidable team: Delara Forghani Ali Yamini and Sammi Szeto, along with the commendable event's organizers, Waterloo.AI, Velocity Health, and CEE, as well as the fantastic sponsors, Google Developer Student Clubs and Inovia, for putting together this event.

Five things I have learned from years of research in Human-Robot Interaction (HRI):
Humans have an large set of unknown knowns.
Robots can teach us a lot about humans.
Intelligence inheres in the perception of the observer.
You can always count on humans to fill in the gaps.
Intuitive interactions emerge when you offer the human mind the right gaps-- this is, precisely, a job for Design Research and Practice.
